Quoting Jack Morrissey, a producer of Twilight Breaking Dawn 1 and 2

June 2, 2003.

Fourteen years ago this morning, a woman woke from a powerful romantic dream involving two characters in a meadow. Soon she would become a novelist, who would birth a saga that changed our world.

The heart of everything that came after that morning remains this simple, elemental dream of a vampire boy and a human girl. Read what author Stephenie Meyer wrote about it here:

The course of my life - like so many of yours reading this - has been profoundly altered by this woman, her dream, the fact that she had the wisdom to write it down, and the fortitude to keep writing.

As we say in the small town of Forks, Washington, where she set her epic, Thank you, Stephenie. Forever.

Here's the filmed adaptation of the Meadow Scene from the first film of The Twilight Saga - Twilight - starring Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, and directed by Catherine Hardwicke.

Hello everyone!

On April 6, 2010, [personal profile] causette made a post asking if anyone would like to take over this community.

Several weeks ago I happened to see this post and asked her if I could take care of it.   So I am now the owner and mod for
the Dreamwidth [community profile] twilight  site and will crosspost to  the Livejournal [livejournal.com profile] twilightforever  site.

This site originally had a great art banner similar to one of the first Twilight movie posters.  Now that many people often read on their phones,  I chose a mobile friendly layout that has the red, white, and black colors of the book covers.

Everyone is welcome to post and comment.  Invite anyone to join.

This is a fan site for posting Twilight events and memories.   See the profile for the rules.
